University information management system is a web base ERP solution which handles lot of academic and administrative activity. This tool helps students, faculty members and parents to do day to day task electronically
How to Access UIMS
To access UIMS a user needs latest browser ( Google chrome and Firefox ) and connectivity with University’s network. User need a valid User Id and password. User can access UIMS from links given below
a)      If user is connected with University’s WIFI they can type http://172.19.2.100/uims or cuims.in in the browser
b)      If user is connected with internet through mobile or other internet device they can type www.cuims.in

User Id and password
Student:  they have to use their UID as a User name and Password.
Parent     : They can prefix “P “(without quote) with the UID and same can be used as password for example if student is having UID 14BBA1021 the parent can use P14BBA1021 as a user id and password
Once they will login first time the system will ask to change the password

Services available for student and parent
1.      Online Notice Board: This help to check daily notices from various departments (registrar office/ Placement / Accounts / Student welfare etc.)
2.      Daily Attendance : Daily attendance marked by teacher are viewable to student and parents
3.      Resource Library:  PPT and other reading material related to the subject of student available under this section where teacher uploads the material and students can download.
4.      Online Assignment:  Student can download an assignment, uploaded by teacher and they can submit back to teacher for evaluation. Student can see marks awarded by teacher against the submission of their assignments.
5.      Feedback: Student or parent can give their suggestions / complaint / feedback on various parameter through this tool. Their request goes to respective department and they will get the intimation once their grievances is resolved.
6.      Result: Academic result for semester can be viewed in real time by student and Parents.
7.      Messages and Alerts: Student and Parents gets SMS and portal alert from various department or teachers.

8.      Library:  Student can search books from an online catalog of University’ Library.
